Bulletin Announcement for October 14-15, 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time

World Mission Sunday
Oct. 22 is World Mission Sunday – an effort led by the Pope to unite Catholics all around the world to support our shared mission of proclaiming the Gospel and serving the poor.

The Holy Father asks for your prayers and donations to help over 1,100 dioceses, located all around the world, that cannot sustain themselves because they are too poor, young, or actively persecuted.

In these dioceses, your gift will support:

  • homes for the orphaned children and elderly
  • religious sisters caring for children and families
  • clinics caring for the sick and dying
  • catechists teaching the faith
  • seminarians preparing for priesthood
  • children in primary schools

We appreciate your generosity. Gifts can be made during this weekend’s second collection. They can also be made online here, or by scanning this QR code with a smart phone camera.
