Mission Statement

The Faith Formation & Evangelization of the Diocese of Gaylord aims to nurture and develop the Catholic faith to those in all stages of life. This includes:

• Knowledge of faith
• Knowledge and meaning of the liturgy and the sacraments
• Moral formation in Jesus Christ
• How to pray with Christ
• How to live in community and participate actively in the life and mission of the Church
• A missionary spirit that prepares the faithful to be present as Christians in society. 

The Diocese of Gaylord offers faith formation for:

• early childhood and family faith development
• K-12 religious education
• sacramental preparation for first communion, first reconciliation and confirmation
• catechetical certification and continuing education for school and parish teachers and catechists
• young adult and adult formation
