Bishop Walter A. Hurley, the Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Gaylord, has announced the following appointments:
Rev. Joseph Muszkiewicz, presently serving as pastor at All Saints Parish, Alpena, is appointed as pastor at St. Michael, Roscommon. This appointment is effective June 8, 2021.
Rev. Nicholas J. Cooper, presently serving as parochial vicar at St. Mary Cathedral, Gaylord; St. Thomas Aquinas, Elmira; and Holy Redeemer, Vanderbilt, is appointed as parochial vicar at Sacred Heart, Oscoda and Holy Family, East Tawas. This appointment is effective June 1, 2021.
Rev. Mitchel E. Roman, presently serving as parochial vicar at St. Francis of Assisi, Traverse City, is appointed as parochial vicar at St. Mary Cathedral, Gaylord; St. Thomas Aquinas, Elmira; and Holy Redeemer, Vanderbilt. This appointment is effective June 1, 2021.
Rev. Michael A. Lingaur, who will be ordained to the priesthood on May 22, 2021, is appointed as parochial vicar at All Saints Parish, Alpena. This appointment is effective July 15, 2021, upon completion of graduate studies.
Rev. Innocent J. Zambua, presently serving as parochial vicar at Sacred Heart, Oscoda and Holy Family, East Tawas, is appointed as parochial vicar at St. Francis of Assisi, Traverse City. This appointment is effective June 1, 2021.
Rev. Tyler A. Bischoff, presently serving as administrator at St. Catherine, Ossineke; St. Gabriel, Black River; St. Anne, Harrisville; and St. Raphael, Mikado, is appointed as administrator at All Saints Parish, Alpena. This appointment is effective June 8, 2021.
Rev. John H. William, presently serving as parochial vicar at St. Mary Cathedral, Gaylord; St. Thomas Aquinas, Elmira; and Holy Redeemer, Vanderbilt, is appointed as administrator at St. Catherine, Ossineke; St. Gabriel, Black River; St. Anne, Harrisville; and St. Raphael, Mikado. This appointment is effective June 8, 2021. He will also continue as Defender of the Bond and Promoter of Justice in the Diocesan Tribunal.
Rev. Scott. J. Lawler, presently serving as parochial vicar at All Saints Parish, Alpena, is granted a three month medical leave of absence. This leave is effective June 8, 2021.
