October 2, 2023: The Most Reverend Jeffrey J. Walsh released a decree stating the territories of Saint Rose of Lima Parish in Herron, Michigan, and Saint Augustine Parish in Hillman, Michigan shall form one territorial parish, with the resulting extinctive union of the present Saint Rose of Lima Parish effective Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023.
