Heather Glasby appointed principal of St. Mary Cathedral School

The Diocese of Gaylord Office of Catholic Schools welcomes Heather Glasby as the principal of St. Mary Cathedral School in Gaylord, starting in the 2023-24 school year.

Mrs. Glasby is a native of Gaylord, receiving all of her sacraments at the Cathedral. She is married to Russ and they have four children. She returned to the area in 2011 and has since been an active member of St. Mary Cathedral and School as a parent, teacher, catechist, administrator and athletic director.

Mrs. Glasby has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of South Florida, a master’s degree in educational leadership from Central Michigan University, a Certification in Catholic School Leadership from Loyola Marymount University, and has been the Assistant Principal at St. Mary Cathedral School for the last six years. She is looking forward to continuing to serve the St. Mary Cathedral school and parish as principal.
