The Diocese of Gaylord Office of Catholic Schools welcomes Maria Somsel as principal of St. Mary of Hannah Catholic School in Kingsley, MI starting in the 2023-24 school year.
Mrs. Somsel stated: “I have been blessed with a wonderful husband and have two beautiful married daughters, wonderful sons-in-law and four energetic grandsons. My educational experience includes teaching, curriculum development, assessment, faculty supervision and accreditation in higher education. This will be my third year at St. Mary of Hannah, and I am very excited to serve our students and their families and our faculty in this new role as we strive for academic excellence and growth of our school.”
