The Diocese of Gaylord is pleased to announce Mr. Mark Dalak as the Administrative Dean at Gaylord St. Mary's Cathedral School.
I am honored and excited to begin my new position as Administrative Dean at St. Mary Cathedral School. I received my bachelor's degree in biology education from Ferris State University and my master's degree in teaching from Marygrove College and for the past 25 years I have taught science and physical education. I look forward to using my experience to support students, teachers and families while fostering a positive, faith-centered school community. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and following sports. I have two amazing children, my son who is studying to become a teacher at Saginaw Valley State University and my daughter who is completing her nursing degree at Northern Michigan University.
