Mrs. Peggy Zettle Appointed Principal at St. Joseph, West Branch

The Diocese of Gaylord is blessed to announce the appointment of Mrs. Peggy Zettle principal of St. Joseph, West Branch.

Older woman with short gray hair

I was born and raised in West Branch on a dairy farm. I attended St. Joseph School from 2nd through 8th grades. I graduated from Michigan State University with a BS in Animal Science and managed a dairy farm for many years. I previously worked at St. Joseph School as a Paraprofessional while my two sons attended. I then was a 4-H Program Coordinator for 8 years. I returned to St. Joseph and was the Spanish class mentor before becoming the 3rd/4th grade teacher for four years. July 1st, I became principal. During the past 4 years I returned to school to obtain my teaching certification and also a Catholic Administrative certification. I am so excited to have come full circle and be able to lead this great team we have here at St. Joseph where we educate each child as a whole child while keeping Christ at the center of everything we do.
