In standing before his disciples, Jesus proves his presence in the flesh, offering them what they needed more in that moment: peace of mind.
Despite the disciples feeling that all had been lost, Jesus connects with them like he did his followers on the road to Emmaus. Through the scriptures, he helped them see that his death was not a tragedy, but a triumph.
Jesus wants to do for us what he did for his disciples—to provide the strength to look into the future with a sense of hope and trust. Today, remind yourself to let Jesus give you his peace and open your mind to his wisdom!
