School Catechism Bee

The women of the St. Angela's Circle at St. Ann Parish in Cadillac, Michigan hosted the first School Catechism Bee in 2011 at St. Ann Catholic School, Cadillac, Michigan. This event served as the impetus for establishing a diocesan-wide program for the children attending our Catholic Schools.
Schools are invited to organize Catechism Bees in all three divisions: Primary (2nd & 3rd grades), Intermediate (4th & 5th grades) and Advanced (6th grade). Schools are not required to hold competitions at all three levels, but all are expected to facilitate at least one classroom Bee at the 6th grade (Advanced Level).
One 6th grader per classroom from each individual school will represent their school at the annual Diocesan Catechism Bee.
