Bulletin Announcement for February 18-19, Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time

First Sunday of Lent
Before starting his public ministry, Jesus endured a grueling forty days in the desert. Despite his ordeal, Jesus remained faithful, beginning his work of disarming the devil. Through his actions during time of hardship of temptation, Jesus demonstrated that “the kingdom of God is at hand” (Mark 1:15).

Do we have the same virtuous resilience within ourselves? As life gets hard and temptations arise, keep Jesus’ story close to your heart and that every experience in our “desert” can result in new opportunities for our faith in the Lord.
