The Diocese of Gaylord Office of Catholic Schools welcomes Leslie Summers as principal of Manistee Catholic Central School in Manistee, MI starting in the 2023-24 school year.
Mrs. Summers stated, “I am absolutely honored and humbled to be named the principal of Manistee Catholic Central after thirty-one years of classroom teaching, the last fifteen years in a Catholic school. My dear late husband and I have three sons, and since his passing in 2017, I have gained two daughters-in-law and one grandson! Our oldest son is an Emergency Medicine, MD in Michigan while his two brothers are serving in the United States Military (Navy and Army). I am thrilled to be a part of the rich Catholic community that exists in Manistee and look forward to supporting the mission of the Church while fulfilling my vocation in Catholic education. Thank you in advance for your prayers and the guidance of the Holy Spirit through our transition.”
