GAYLORD, MI -- On March 6, 2024, the Diocese of Gaylord became aware of information that Reverend Rubén D. Muñoz, who has been on leave of absence for personal reasons since Feb. 9, 2024, may have violated diocesan policies and protocols. Pending an internal investigation by the diocese, Bishop Jeffrey J. Walsh has suspended Fr. Muñoz’s priestly faculties. Accordingly, Father Muñoz cannot present himself as a priest.
