Prior to Collection Weekend
The annual collection for the Seminarian Education Fund will take place in our parish on the weekend of August 28/29. This is an invitation to actively participate in the education and formation of our future priests. Your donation provides tuition, books, room and board, and health insurance for our seminarians. Both prayers and financial support are needed and encouraged. An important mailing will arrive in your mailbox in the coming days asking for your support. Please be as generous as you are able, and use the reply envelope included in the mailing to make your gift. You can also give online at www.dioceseofgaylord.org/make-a-gift. Be sure to note that your gift is for the Seminarian Education Fund. Thank you for supporting vocations and our future priests!

Collection Weekend (August 28/29)
Please support our future priests by giving to the annual Seminarian Education Fund collection this weekend. This is an invitation to each of us to actively participate in the education and formation of our clergy. A seminarian’s journey is long and very demanding — academically, spiritually and financially — and they cannot do this alone! Your donation provides tuition, books, room and board, and health insurance for our seminarians. Please be as generous as you are able and make a gift using the reply envelope you recently received in the mail. You can also give online at www.dioceseofgaylord.org/make-a-gift. Be sure to note that your gift is for the Seminarian Education Fund. Thank you for your generosity!

After Collection Weekend
Thank you to those who participated in the annual Seminarian Education Fund collection last weekend.  There is still time to respond to the great need we have to support our seminarians. Your generous gift will make a significant difference now — and for the future of our Church. If you have not already, please consider making a gift and continue to pray for vocations and our seminarians!  To make a gift, please use the reply envelope included in the recent mailing you received, or give online at www.dioceseofgaylord.org/make-a-gift. Be sure to note that your gift is for the Seminarian Education Fund. Thank you for supporting vocations and our future priests!

Prayers of the Faithful

  • For an increase of all vocations in the Church and, in a particular way, for priestly vocations to the Diocese of Gaylord from our parish, we pray to the Lord.
  • For a strengthening of all vocations, that we may all strive to follow God's call to holiness, we pray to the Lord.
  • For our young men and women whom God is calling to serve as priests and religious, that they may have the grace of God to hear the call, and the support of their family and friends to answer, we pray to the Lord.
  • That those who feel a call to and desire for the priesthood or religious life may find the courage to say “yes” to what God asks of them, we pray to the Lord.
  • That our parish community will nurture religious vocations through our lives of prayer and service, giving witness to God's loving action in the world, we pray to the Lord.
  • That our daily living may transform our suffering world into a place of love, justice and peace, we pray to the Lord.
  • We pray for young people: that they may persevere in hope, trusting in God's faithfulness as they search for deeper meaning in life, we pray to the Lord.
  • For men and women in seminaries and religious formation programs, that they may know the support and love of our community as they grow in self-awareness and continue to discern God's call, we pray to the Lord.
  • For those responsible for guiding the spiritual growth of seminarians, candidates and novices, that they will rely on the wisdom of the Spirit in their ministry, we pray to the Lord.
  • For Christian families, the source of religious vocations, that they may be prompted to encourage young people to rejoice in doing God’s will, we pray to the Lord.
