Stewardship by the Book
Jesus says AI came that they may have life and have it to the full. Good stewards are grateful for the gift of life and joyfully share their abundance with others.
Vocation View
This is World Day of Prayer for Vocations. The harvest is great but the laborers are few. Pray to the God of the harvest to send more laborers into the fields.
Stewardship Reflections
“And Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ…” Acts 2:38
The word “repent” means to turn from sin, to change our actions. Change that is permanent comes from within. It requires prayer, discipline and perseverance. Change is also hard. We have to recognize that we are broken and need help. The good news - we are not alone in our journey. Ask Jesus daily for guidance and patiently listen for his response.
Family Perspective by Bud Ozar
In today’s gospel Jesus tells us, HE IS THE WAY and warns anyone who offers “another way” to happiness is “a thief and a bandit.” Strong words! Don’t listen to the sales pitch of society for happiness. Look to yourself where God is present and “calls you by name and leads you to abundant life.”
